of Ecuador
Founded in 1977, the Society aims to promote close and friendly relations between Ecuador and the United Kingdom by: 1. Bringing to the people of Great Britain a knowledge of the history, geography and culture of Ecuador through cultural and social events such as: lectures, films, art exhibitions, etc. 2. Helping people in conditions of hardship or distress in Ecuador through charitable contributions. 3. Serving as a contact in the U.K. for anybody having an interest in, or connection with, both countries in business and tourism.
Members can attend the talks, lectures, films and reunions organised by the Society. Members can also use the facilities of Canning House, 2 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PJ, including its extensive library.
