Anglo Ecuadorian Society Annual Events The Anglo Ecuadorian Society is pleased to organise events for the benefit of children in Ecuador. If you are a member of the Society, you will receive advance notice of these and other events through our regular news letter. The Anglo Ecuadorian Society also takes part in the annual ALAF (Anglo-Latin American Foundation) event—a Latin American fair held in London at which you can buy artesania from all over Latin America and taste the local food (and drinks!). Often there is music and folkloric dancing too. Join us in welcoming the New Ecuadorian Ambassador, H. E. Sr. Eduardo Cabezas and his wife, Mrs Bertha de Cabezas, 2 Belgrave Square, LONDON, SW1X 8PJ, From 7.00 to 9.00 pm. Tickets at £20 per person All profits will go to Childrens’ Charity in Ecuador. FULLY BOOKED 12 September 2008: Anglo-Central American Society Canal Boat trip in association with The Anglo-Ecuadorian Society. £30 per head. Departs Paddington Moorings 7pm. Tickets in advance from Anglo-Central American Society Flat 8, Lanark Mansions – 12 Lanark Road – London W9 1DB. There will be a raffle on the boat and all profits will go to needy children and old people’s charities in Central America 18 October 2007: the annual ALAF fair takes place at Kensington Town Hall, from 12 noon to 6.30pm. Come along and help raise funds for children in Latin America.
